
We think that another day's hard push will get us home, a day earlier
than planned. The sun is shining, it is still quite cold and the lorries are again a big problem. Pascal won't break the speed limit under any
circumstances (quite rightly so) and insists on stopping for a good French lunch but we're still not really falling behind.
Eventually and uneventfully, we make it back home at 6 pm. tired, grubby but well pleased that we actually completed the adventure. I never thought we would, so the feeling of accomplishment is keen. The Adventure only had 2100 kilometres on the clock when I started, and I've now added a further 2800.
